The Ronald McDonald House® and Family Rooms® are supported by a strong foundation of volunteers. Their gifts of love and compassion make our House more than just a place to stay, they make it a home. We are pleased to offer individual, pair, and group volunteer opportunities.
House: 4223 Royal Pine Drive
Shift times: 9 a.m.-1 p.m., 1 p.m.-5 p.m., 5 p.m.-9 p.m. — 7 days/week
- Volunteers make our House a warm environment by cleaning, organizing, working in the yard, and working on specialty housekeeping projects.
- Front office duties include: answering phones/doors, accepting donations, checking families in/out, and giving tours.
- Requires RMHC® volunteer application and background check.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Children’s Hospital Colorado Family Room: 4090 Briargate Pkwy
Shift times: 9 a.m.-1 p.m., 1 p.m.-5 p.m., 5 p.m.-8 p.m. — 5 days/week
- Volunteers serve as a host/hostess to families by greeting guests with a smile, providing tours to new guests, monitoring the guest sign-in process, making coffee, putting out snacks, answering phones, and ordering supplies
- Requires CHCCS volunteer application, Background check, Health portal, CHCCS orientation forms and having a badge picture taken
- Must be at least 18 years old
